The following conceptual graph reflects where participants at intentionally designed endowment events have indicated where they felt their institution was at the time in terms of considering environmental, social, and governance criteria in their investment decision making. While this is the result of a subjective exercise, it demonstrates a clear trend that most endowments are still in the early stages and do not yet have comprehensive policy statements regarding these issues:
