Sustainable Indices 

  • STOXX INDICES - STOXX ESG and Sustainability index families are available for both global and regional markets. Depending on the selected region, one can find various sustainability related indices.

  • MSCI - ESG Indexing - MSCI utilizes their ESG data and ratings on thousands of companies to provide ESG indexes for those interested in sustainable investing. The MSCI indexes fall into one of five main categories: Sustainability, SRI, Ex Controversial Weapons, Environmental and Custom.

  • FTSE4Good Index Series - The FTSE4Good Index series is one of FTSE’s several ESG indices. It measures companies with strong Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) practices. For the Ground Rules for the FTSE4Good Index Series, click here.

  • Dow Jones Sustainability Indices - Dow Jones Sustainable Indicies has created 3 ESG Index families. Each family utilizes RobecoSAM's Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA) results to calculate sustainability scores which are then used to weigh each company or country.   • S&P Dow Jones Indices - S&P Dow Jones Indices offers 36 different indices in different ESG fields such as water, clean energy, carbon efficiency, sustainability, and the environment.For a complete list of indices on their website, click “themes” on the right hand column, then select “sustainability.”

  • Access to Medicine Index - The Access to Medicine Index independently ranks pharmaceutical companies’ efforts to improve access to medicine in developing countries. Funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and the UK and Dutch governments, the Index has been published every two years since 2008.
