Phil Kirshman, CFA, CFP, Chief Investment Officer, Cornerstone Capital Investment Management (CCIM)

Phil Kirshman is the Chief Investment Officer at Cornerstone Capital Investment Management (CCIM). Phil is a recognized expert and leader in the field of sustainable investment consulting, with 20 years of client experience in advisory and portfolio management capacities. He has worked closely with private companies, foundations, family offices, trustees, and directly with families to plan, strategize, implement and provide continuous reporting on sustainable investment strategies and initiatives. Phil’s portfolio management credentials and experience bring important fiduciary-level perspectives to Cornerstone’s private client wealth management engagements. He oversees our investment policy planning, strategic asset allocation optimization, manager due diligence, investment implementation and portfolio reporting strategies.

Previously, Phil was a senior partner on a UBS Institutional Consulting team based in Boulder, Colorado, serving clients all over the United States. Prior to that, he has served clients as a portfolio manager with Wachovia Securities and Smith Barney, served in a business development capacity with Progressive Asset Management, and was a commercial cargo ship sale broker with Jacq. Pierot Jr. and Sons.

Phil is a Chartered Financial Analyst and a Certified Financial Planner® and serves on the board of US SIF: The Forum for Sustainable and Responsible Investment, the leading sustainability-focused membership trade organization in the US.
