Mr. Chaimanis is Co-Founder and Managing Director of Kendall Sustainable Infrastructure (KSI), a private equity firm that makes direct investments in clean-energy projects. In 2005, Mr. Chaimanis began working in clean energy finance as it formed the perfect match between his business interests with his passion for making a positive impact.  After working with regional project developers in the New England area, he joined a subsidiary of Edison International in California to acquire and develop 250MW of wind energy projects, investing over $500 million dollars. Felicia M. Davis, directs the Building Green Initiative housed at Clark Atlanta University within the Atlanta University Center-the largest consortium of historically black colleges and universities in the nation.  Created by UNCF, the program advances green building and other sustainability efforts at historically black, Hispanic-serving and tribal colleges and universities. David Dinerman is the Chief Financial Officer of ZoMazz, Inc., a technology and manufacturing company located in Monterey, California. Previously, he spent six years as the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer at Probitas Partners, a leading international firm that raises money for private equity funds. Patrick T. Drum, Research Analyst and Portfolio Manager, joined Saturna Capital in October 2014. He is the portfolio manager for the firm’s institutional subsidiary, Saturna Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia, directing the sharia compliant fixed income investments. He is a select member of the United Nation’s Principles for Investment (UNPRI) Fixed Income Outreach Subcommittee and an adjunct professor of finance at Pinchot University, formerly known as Bainbridge Graduate Institute (BGI). Amy Myers Jaffe is a leading expert on global energy policy, geopolitical risk, and energy and sustainability. Jaffe serves as senior advisor, energy and sustainability to the Office of the Chief Investment Officer of the Regents, University of California, and as executive director for Energy and Sustainability at University of California, Davis. She is associate editor (North America) for the academic journal Energy Strategy Reviews and serves on the editorial board of the Journal of Economics and Energy and Environmental Policy.  Philip King is a professor of economics at SF State. King's tenure at the University began in 1987 after a nearly two-year professorship at State University of New York (SUNY) at Cortland. In 1978, King earned a B.A. in philosophy and economics from Washington University, where he was nominated to Omicron Delta Epsilon, an economics honor society. King received his Ph.D. in economics from Cornell University in 1987. Read more.

Tom Kuh, Executive Director, MSCI

Thomas Kuh is the Executive Director for ESG Indices at MSCI, Inc., and a leading global provider of investment decision support tools, including indices and portfolio risk and performance analytics. Prior his current role at MSCI Inc., he was Head of ESG Indices at RiskMetrics Group, which was acquired by MSCI Inc. in June 2010. Dr. Kuh joined RiskMetrics in November 2009 through the acquisition of KLD Research & Analytics. During his 17-year career at KLD, Dr. Kuh held a number of positions, progressing from Research Analyst to Business Development Director and finally Managing Director of KLD Indexes. Read more.

Robert  J. Nava, President, San Francisco State Foundation

Vice President University Advancement, San Francisco State University

Robert Nava is vice president for university advancement at SF State and is president of the San Francisco State University Foundation. Prior to coming to SF State, Nava held various senior leadership positions at the University of California, Riverside and served as the university's lobbyist in Sacramento and Washington D.C. During much of his 19-year UC Riverside career, Nava also taught as an adjunct faculty member in CSU Fullerton's Chicano Studies program and worked in advocacy for the Orange County Human Relations Commission. Chris O'Brien, Director of Higher Education Programs, Altenex

Chris came to Altenex from American University where he was Director of Sustainability from 2009 to 2015. He was responsible for all sustainability functions, including the university's commitment to achieving climate-neutrality by the year 2020. Chris continues to teach about energy, climate, carbon markets and sustainable purchasing in the Sustainability Management program at AU's Kogod School of Business. While heading AU's sustainability office, Chris executed three power purchase agreements (PPAs), including a megawatt of onsite solar PV and solar thermal, and a 52 megawatt offsite solar PV project, which was the largest non-utility PPA in higher education at the time. Samuel Sussman, Partner and Head of Investment Strategy, Alternative Investment Group

Samuel Sussman is a Partner and Head of Investment Strategy for Alternative Investment Group.
