The SRI Conference Scholarship

IEN is pleased to support The SRI Conference Scholarship. The SRI Conference serves thought leaders, investors, and investment professionals who are actively integrating ESG factor analysis into investment decision-making and seeking to catalyze the shift to a more socially equitable and environmentally sustainable economy.

This year's SRI Conference will take place from November 11 - 15th, 2019, in Colorado Springs, CO. More information on the conference is available here.

The scholarship was started and is coordinated by a group of First Affirmative Financial Network emeriti and longtime affiliates to bring qualified young people to The SRI Conference. Their goal is to ensure that the culture, commitment, and competence of the pioneer SRI movement be sustained into the next generation. This group of industry leaders offers full scholarships to a diverse group of qualified students and young professionals out of school no more than three years who are interested in a career as an SRI / ESG investment professional. Given the mission of IEN, and the stated desire of many of our conference attendees “to have their students learn what they are learning” it is our pleasure to help administer this program.
