Yingjie Wang is a senior Economics major at Yale University, focusing on economic development and public health. On campus, she is part of the Board of Directors at Dwight Hall, the umbrella nonprofit service organization at Yale, and has interned at Innovations for Poverty-Action, a development think tank. Last semester, she studied comparative public health abroad in Vietnam, South Africa, and Argentina and wrote her thesis on the cost of economic development on human health while performing field work on the impact of food subsidy cuts on health and finances in Buenos Aires. Having worked for three years at various nonprofits, she is passionate about helping organizations promote their missions without sacrificing financial performance.
