Intentionally Designed Endowment Forum - New York City

February 18, 2020

1pm - 5pm

By Invitation - please contact us to request an invitation if you have not already received one

This forum will be an in-depth, active conversation among experts and senior endowment decision makers about how a sustainability framework can enhance the investment process and help tackle the many pressures endowments face in managing risk and return objectives in a volatile economy. The conversation will explore how asset owners and managers are addressing climate risk - from divestment of fossil fuel companies to engagement with the companies with the largest carbon emissions - and embracing unprecedented opportunities to invest in creating a low carbon, sustainable economy.

Guided by the Roadmap for Intentionally Designed Endowments – a step by step process which grew out of the experiences of our network of colleges and universities – the forum will be an opportunity to make concrete plans for advancing your institution’s own unique path of sustainable investing. Catalytic panels of senior leaders will share cutting-edge ideas as well as pragmatic lessons for how to align investments with institutional mission. We will also spend time in roundtable discussions where decision makers can have their specific questions addressed and work with peers and financial experts to create or advance action plans for their own institutions.Join us in New York, and consider coming together as a team with Investment Committee members, consultants, and other senior decision makers.
