IEN is partnering with the UN-convened Net Zero Asset Owner Alliance to provide IEN members with a tailored introduction to some of the work of the Alliance including its approach to achieving net-zero carbon portfolios, the upcoming target-setting framework of the Alliance, and the engagement approach of the Alliance to drive real-world emissions reductions. Members of the Alliance will speak to their individual institution’s experience and efforts, and content leads of the Alliance will join to answer any questions.

Jesica LēLynn Andrews, Net Zero Asset Owner Alliance, UNEP Finance Initiative Jes Andrews is a Senior Project Manager at the United Nations Environment Programme Finance Initiative, where she leads portfolio target-setting with investors in the Net Zero Asset Owner Alliance, she is also a member of the Expert Advisory Group for Science Based Targets and UNFCCC’s Race to Zero Campaign. Prior to working with UNEP FI, she worked on climate change projects across with multiple UN agencies, governments and private firms across some 35 countries in Africa, Latin America and Asia. Jes supports investors in understanding climate risk and aligning with the UNFCCC Paris Accord.
