Kent Devereaux is the 12th President of Goucher College. Prior to moving to Maryland to assume the presidency of Goucher in July 2019, Kent served as President of the New Hampshire Institute of Art (NHIA).

Kent has served as Professor and Chair of the Music Department at Cornish College of the Arts and Artistic Director for the college's presenting series, Cornish Presents. Prior academic affiliations include appointments as a Visiting Artist at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC) and as the Andrew W. Mellon Visiting Professor in Criticism at the California Institute of the Arts (CalArts).

In addition to his experience leading non-profit higher education institutions, Kent spent over a decade working in technology and online education sectors including stints at Encyclopaedia Britannica and Kaplan University.

Michael has completed several executive education courses on climate change, including the highly acclaimed program at the LSE's Grantham Research Institute. He holds a Sloan Masters Degree in Leadership and Strategy from London Business School and is both a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) and a Certified Financial Planner (CFP).

Dan has been the Executive Director of the Sierra Club Foundation since 2016. SCF funds efforts to address the climate crisis, protect land, waters and wildlife, get people outdoors in nature and advance environmental justice as the primary fiscal sponsor for the Sierra Club's charitable programs. SCF also provides impact investments to advance climate solutions and social justice ventures as part of its aspiration to help accelerate the shift of trillions from an extractive economy to an economy that is sustainable and just for all.

Dan joined the Sierra Club in 2013 as the National Director of the Sierra Club's Our Wild America campaign, from his previous role as the Vice President for regional and affiliate programs at the National Wildlife Federation. Dan started his environmental advocacy career as a door-to-door canvasser in Colorado. He is a returned Peace Corps Panama agroforestry volunteer and holds a Master's of Science from the University of Colorado and a Bachelor's of Science from Michigan State University. Dan resides in the East Bay area in Northern California.

Alex serves as a senior member of AlTi Global's Investment Group, with responsibility for manager selection, risk management and portfolio construction. Alex manages the firm's research process for infrastructure and energy transition strategies with a significant focus on climate technology investments in the private markets.

Prior to the formation of AlTi, Alex was a Managing Director at Tiedemann Advisors, where he focused on risk management, portfolio construction and manager selection. Alex joined Tiedemann when the firm merged with Threshold Group. Prior to joining Threshold, Alex spent ten years at SEI Investments in a variety of roles, most recently leading investment research and due diligence with the Alternative Investments team.

Alex earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Villanova University and a Master of Science degree in Financial Engineering from Temple University. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst and a Certified Financial Risk Manager (FRM®).

David is a Managing Director on the Direct Equity Investment team and leads the Impact and Targeted Investing activities. He is a member of the Investment Committee and Responsible Investment Committee. David focuses on both direct equity and direct credit investments within a variety of sectors and strategic areas across Hamilton Lane's investment products. In fulfilling these duties, he has served as Board Member, Board Observer, and Advisory Board representative for multiple direct company and fund investments across the firm's products and client base. His experience includes fund management and oversight, as well as sourcing, structuring and underwriting of debt and equity investments with financial sponsors and corporations on behalf of institutional clients.

Prior to joining Hamilton Lane in 2004, David was a corporate investment banker in the Financial Institutions Group of Morgan Stanley in New York, focusing on advising and executing mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance transactions. Previously, David worked in the Mergers & Acquisitions Group of Credit Suisse First Boston in New York. David also served as a Lieutenant in the U.S. Navy.

David received an M.B.A. from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University and a B.A. in Political Science from Swarthmore College.

He has 20+ years of experience in asset management across public equity and venture investing, commodity derivative and physical commodity trading. His previous experience spans across Australia, Europe, and Asia, and includes positions as Equity Analyst at Goldman Sachs JBWere, Head of Research at RK Capital Management, and CIO of HFZ Capital Management.

Scott holds a CFA charter and joint Commerce and Arts degrees from the University of Melbourne.

Maria joined the US SIF as Chief Executive Officer in May 2023. She is an innovative leader within the field of sustainability and finance and is recognized for building meaningful partnerships across the value chain of global institutional investors, corporates, policymakers, multi-national organizations, and other related stakeholders to address some of the world's most critical, and financially material, environmental and social challenges.

Prior to US SIF, Maria led the FAIRR Initiative, a global investor network driving the narrative around the risks and opportunities in the global protein supply chain with the aim of directing capital towards a more sustainable and equitable food system. Under her tenure, the FAIRR investor network grew to over $70 trillion in combined assets and FAIRR's expert research on climate, biodiversity, anti-microbial resistance, and other risks, reframed the narrative on animal agriculture and sustainable protein.

Maria also worked for the UN-supported Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI) where she cultivated and expanded the global investor network, managing the PRI's Signatory Relations strategy and raising awareness of financially material sustainability issues with institutional investors.

Maria started her career in global finance and capital markets, working at both J.P. Morgan and Deutsche Bank. She has served on the Sustainability Accounting Standard Board Standards Advisory Group. She is also a member of the Intentional Endowment Network's (IEN) Steering Committee.

Maria is based in Washington DC but has lived and worked in San Francisco, New York, Madrid and London. She holds a MA (Distinction) in Environment, Politics and Globalization from King's College London and a BA in International Business, Latin American Studies and Spanish from San Diego State University.

Previously, Rick spent 5 years as CFO of The Guthrie Theater following 5 years as CFO of a human service agency in the Twin Cities area and thirteen years in financial management in the tech industry.

Community service has included boards of The Jerome Foundation, Proteus Fund, Door County Land Trust, MN Museum of American Art, MN Council on Foundations, and many others. His studies were in international economics, supplemented with language studies in Spanish, Russian, German, Italian and French.

Lane leads the ESG Advisory Practice for Edelman Smithfield.

He is a seasoned ESG and sustainability executive having held corporate leadership roles over the last 16 years in the facilities management, financial services and consulting industries.

Prior to joining Edelman Smithfield in 2021, he had senior roles on PwC's national Responsible Business Leadership team helping the firm and its clients drive ESG strategy from creation to performance. Lane was part of the team that developed the firm's global net zero strategy. In addition to his time at PwC and the PwC Charitable Foundation, Lane has been the Director of Philanthropy and CSR at Santander US, where he led the Bank's $10M annual grants portfolio, and helped develop the first sustainability strategy at Sodexo USA, across the food service and facilities management firm's North American footprint.

He has designed ESG and sustainability strategies and produced reports for a wide range of clients, including global firms across service and industry segments, including financial services, healthcare, technology, media and manufacturing. Lane is active in impact investing, serving as an advisor and mentor to early-stage enterprises.

He has a Master's in International Development Economics from the School of Global Policy and Strategy at the University of California, San Diego, and a Bachelor's in International Studies from Kenyon College. In 2023, Lane was named to the Ethics and Compliance Initiative's Blue-Ribbon Commission on the Future of ESG.

Chris Ito is Chief Executive Officer of FFI Solutions. Chris has over 30 years of leadership roles in the consulting and investment management industries. Andrew comes to Ceres from the National Public Pension Coalition, having worked for almost seven years in a variety of roles protecting the pensions of public employees across the country. He has worked to pass legislation that benefits working and retired employees, while also defeating various harmful bills to retirement security.

Prior to NPPC, Andrew has worked for candidates, national campaigns, and non-profits helping to advance their organizational goals and candidacies. Andrew has his masters degree in public administration from Fairfield University, and he and his family live outside of Albany, New York.

Rick practiced law for 30 years at Morris, Nichols, Arsht & Tunnell in Wilmington, Delaware, including four years as managing partner. During that time, he was selected as one of the ten most highly regarded corporate governance lawyers worldwide and as one of the 500 leading lawyers in the United States. In 2015, Rick became Head of Legal Policy at B Lab, where he worked to create sustainable corporate governance structures around the globe. He left that position in 2019 for a fellowship that led to the creation of The Shareholder Commons.

Rick serves as Director and Treasurer of the American College of Governance Counsel, and is a member of the Advisory Board of Beren Pharmaceuticals, P.B.C., the Council of Institutional Investors Markets Advisory Council, and the Commonwealth Climate and Law Initiative Advisory Board. He is also a member of the Delaware Corporation Law Council, the body responsible for maintaining the premier corporate statute in the United States, where he previously served as Vice-Chair and Chair and drafted legislation, including provisions prohibiting mandatory arbitration, enabling proxy access, implementing majority voting and authorizing benefit corporations.

Rick has testified before the Congressional Joint Economic Committee, the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, the Securities and Exchange Commission, and the Delaware General Assembly; he also served as consultant to the United States Department of Justice in Purdue Pharma bankruptcy matter. He is the author of Benefit Corporation Law and Governance: Pursuing Profit with Purpose (Berrett Koehler 2017).

Jeff Mindlin serves as the inaugural Chief Investment Officer at ASU Enterprise Partners. In this capacity, Mindlin is responsible for managing about $2 billion of Arizona State University Foundation and ASU Enterprise Partners' investment capital including the endowment, operating pool and balance sheet investments. He provides critical support of the Investment Committee and Board of Directors as well as oversight of consultants. He helps with the investment activities of other affiliates engaged in direct real estate and corporate venture capital. During his tenure, Mindlin has been tasked with aligning the investment strategy with ASU's leadership in sustainability.

Mindlin serves on the boards of the university's education technology accelerator (ASU ScaleU) and angel investor network (InvestU). He acts as a trustee to the retirement plan and advises on the investment management of ASU's operating funds. To support ASU's emphasis on experiential learning and sustainability, Mindlin is active with multiple student managed funds and finance-related clubs. In addition, Mindlin chairs the TIAA-Nuveen Investment Council and serves on the Intentional Endowment Network's Executive Committee and Net Zero Working Group.

He previously served as Tower Square Investment Management's executive director and co-chief investment officer, overseeing the portfolio management team's portfolio selection, trading, proprietary money management and product development. He co-chaired the investment committee, which oversaw more than $5 billion in client assets.

He obtained bachelor's degrees in economics and finance from the W. P. Carey School of Business at ASU, where he also received the prestigious Moeur Award. He earned the Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA) designation.

He brings a deep economic lens to the work, focusing on incentives, workers, investments, capital markets, and other critical economic drivers of the digital age. Prior to Omidyar Network, his experience spanned the public, private, and nonprofit sectors as a strategist, investor, start-up participant, policy advocate, analyst, and leading thinker. Mike has worked on many aspects of the digital revolution since the mid-1990s: from Web 1.0 and telecom deregulation to digital public infrastructure, generative AI, and present-day concerns.

Mike also serves as a board member of the Norrsken Foundation (Sweden) and the US Impact Investing Alliance.

Heather is a partner and the non-profit solutions leader for Aon investments. In this role, she is responsible for ensuring that the firm’s clients and prospects remain informed of key issues impacting the market and have access to innovative solutions to help meet their objectives. Heather serves advisory and OCIO relationships. She is the chair of Aon’s U.S. Investment Committee.

Prior to joining Aon in 2016, Heather served at Russell Investments. Initially, she worked for Russell’s Japanese consulting business. Her experience at Russell includes manager research, investment management, and consulting. She spent a decade researching fixed income and currency managers, including in London as head of multi‑currency fixed income research. She also served as senior consultant for large, sophisticated foundation, endowment and retirement funds and finally managing director as a leader for the nonprofit practice. During this period, Heather also researched Private Equity and Hedge Fund of Funds for the firm’s clients. Heather has served on several boards and investment committees, including Whitman College’s Investment Committee for 12 years and a healthcare investment committee. Heather is currently a member of the John T. Gorman Foundation Investment Committee and the Claremont McKenna College Investment Committee and serves as the Treasurer of the Sakonnet Yacht Club Inc.

Heather’s expertise includes working with a variety of non-profit clients and other institutional asset pools. She is knowledgeable across the investment spectrum from public to private assets and other types of alternatives and has spent many years engaged in Responsible Investing initiatives. Education to Boards and Investment Committees is one of Heather’s passions and strengths. Heather received the P&I Influential Women in Institutional Investing Award in 2023.

With over 40 years of experience as a Certified Public Accountant, Mike offers a depth of understanding and knowledge that proves invaluable to his clients. He has served businesses in a diverse set of industries, including real estate, retail, distribution, manufacturing, construction, not-for-profit and professional services.

Mike is the former managing director of SC&H Group's Audit practice, which provides tailored, objective assurance services to privately-held businesses, non-profit organizations, and government agencies.

In addition to performing traditional audit and business advisory services, Mike performed business valuation and litigation support engagements, including calculation of economic damages and fraud investigations, and served as an expert witness in fraud, bankruptcy and other litigation matters.

He takes an active role in the community and is a board member of The Walters Art Museum and a board member and chairman of the board of trustees of John Carroll School.

Mike is a magna cum laude graduate of Towson University. He is an Accredited Business Valuator and Certified Public Accountant.
