Program Associate
Bella Alvarez is a Program Associate, supporting several IEN initiatives, including the SIILK Network, the Sustainable Retirements Initiative, and the Shareholder Engagement initiative. Bella also leads several aspects of IEN’s communications activities, including IEN’s Weekly News Round-up and webinar coordination. Bella attended Bunker Hill Community College and is completing her degree at Northeastern University pursuing a B.S. in Digital Communication and Media. As a woman of color and a person of mixed race, she is passionate about environmental justice and alleviating the impacts of climate change on underserved communities.
