Tristan Hackett is a Senior Director leading client verification services and supporting research, development, and strategy at BlueMark.

Tristan joined Tideline in January 2016 and has contributed in a variety of impact management, market research, and operational roles, including through leading many client consulting engagements with prominent impact investors, such as Deutsche Bank (DWS), Guys' and St. Thomas Charity, the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and USAID.

During his time in graduate school, Tristan worked as a Summer Associate for Volta Capital, a boutique impact investment advisory firm, where he supported the design and fundraise for a blended finance facility focused on education finance in East Africa. Earlier in his career, Tristan gained experience in the international development and non-profit sectors, by leading a community outreach project focused on youth empowerment in Kenya, and interning for a local NGO, Fundación Inclusión Social, in Argentina.

Tristan earned his Master of Science (MSc) in Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship at the London School of Economics (LSE) Department of Management and holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) from the University of Vermont (UVM) honors college in Global Studies, with a double minor in English and Spanish.

Aparna Ramanujam is an Associate at BlueMark focused on impact assurance and verification. Aparna joined BlueMark in April 2023.

Prior to joining BlueMark, Aparna worked at STIR Education, a global non-profit that works with governments in South Asia, East Africa, and Latin America to improve public education, where she led impact monitoring, data management, and technology strategy for global operations. Previously, Aparna was a Teach For India Fellow in Chennai, India, before which she co-founded a biomedical device company to address diagnostic challenges in geriatric neurology.

Aparna graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a BA in Neuroscience, where she focused on developmental neuroscience and completed a theses exploring the neural underpinnings of curiosity.

I believe that capital, when invested strategically, can be one of the greatest forces for social and environmental change. My work is centered around the notion that impact investments can generate returns for investors while simultaneously addressing humanity's most significant challenges. Specifically, I am drawn to working with individuals and families given the tremendous power they hold to build a sustainable and equitable world for future generations. It is a privilege to be able to support clients in determining the issues they care most about and guiding them as they thoughtfully deploy their resources in alignment with that vision.

As the Director of Impact Investments, my work is focused on underwriting impact-related funds and direct investments and supporting impact-focused clients. I have spent my career stewarding capital into the private markets with the intent of generating both financial returns and measurable social and environmental change for a range of client types, including pension funds, endowments, foundations, and high-net-worth individuals.

I was drawn to Caprock given the expertise the firm has developed within the impact investing field over the last 10 years, in addition to the level of authenticity and rigor that is clearly demonstrated through the track record of impact investments. I look forward to helping Caprock continue to bring high-quality opportunities to clients that reflect their respective objectives and goals.
