The ESG For Impact Conference Scholarship

IEN is pleased to support the ESG For Impact Conference Scholarship. This invitation-only event is focused on the interests of client-facing advisors and planners, along with portfolio managers who are experienced in using ESG data and SRI goals. Many attendees are pioneers in the field with many years of experience. The meeting will also welcome friends in other parts of the SRI/ESG Community and select students and young professionals who are actively integrating ESG factor analysis into investment decision-making to catalyze the shift to a more socially equitable and environmentally sustainable economy.

The ESG for Impact Conference will take place October 23-26, 2022, in Colorado Springs, CO. More information on the conference is available here.

The scholarship was started and is coordinated by a group of First Affirmative Financial Network emeriti and longtime affiliates to bring qualified young people into the ESG/SRI community. Their goal is to ensure that the culture, commitment, and competence of the pioneer SRI/ESG movement be sustained into the next generation. This group of industry leaders offers full scholarships to a diverse group of qualified students and young professionals who are interested in a career as client facing SRI / ESG investment professionals.  All students including undergraduate, graduate, and those in professional programs are eligible as are those who are not more than three years post-graduation. Given the mission of IEN, and the stated desire of many of our conference attendees “to have their students learn what they are learning” it is our pleasure to help administer this program.
