Geri Melchiorre, Senior Director of Investments, University of Illinois System

Geri Melchiorre is the Senior Director of Investments for the University of Illinois System. She is responsible for the investment of $4.3 billion in combined operating and endowment assets, as well as management of 14k acres of endowed farmland. She joined the University System’s investment office in 2012 after spending four years with Northern Trust in the asset management division focusing on operational and investment risk management and two years at Protiviti Consulting. She graduated from the University of Illinois with a bachelor’s degree in finance and speech communication. Ms. Melchiorre is a CFA Charterholder.
