Hanako Boulangeat has joined the team as Program Director, Climate Justice & DEI.

Before joining IEN, Hanako worked as Events, Program Manager - Sustainability & Innovation Lead at the French American Chamber of Commerce in New York (FACC-NY). She pioneered and developed the Sustainability & Innovation Sector at the FACC-NY, starting with the conception, production, and launch of the first FACC-NY Sustainability & Innovation Forum. Hanako managed eight committees comprised of C-suite executives, stakeholders, and thought leaders from the public, private and academic sectors: Sustainability & Innovation - Women In Business - Tech, Start-Up, Entrepreneurs - Food, Beverage, Hospitality - Finance & Banking - HR & Mobility- Young Executives - Luxury, Fashion Beauty. Together they co-developed and fielded a bespoke learning journey for business leaders with over sixty events per year. Hanako began her career in communications and corporate events in London, then Paris before moving to New York.

Originally from France, Hanako graduated from a BTS Commerce 'I'nternational followed by a third year of bachelor’s in Communications at the INSEEC Business School in Paris.
