IEN will host a session at AASHE's virtual Global Conference on Sustainability in Higher Education this year exploring how college endowments can positively impact communities near their campuses as anchor institutions. Through presentations and moderated discussion, attendees of this session will walk away with an understanding of how their institution’s endowment works, how to connect with endowment decision-makers to implement place-based investing strategies, and how other institutions are investing in their local communities and driving the just transition through their endowment.
