Katie is the co-founder and managing partner of the Resilience Collaborative, a consultancy and innovation firm focused on scaling equitable and profitable solutions to climate challenges. Katie has helped incubate and accelerate more than 20 organizations, campaigns and institutional programs focused on economic and social sustainability, human rights and health. She is a founding member of the national Divest-Invest coalition, and co-founded Fossil Free UC in 2012 while studying at UC Berkeley. In 2014 Katie became a campaign director for the California Student Sustainability Coalition (CSSC) where she expanded anti-fracking and divest-invest campaigns in CA. During her time at CSSC, she helped establish and advise the UC task force for Sustainable investment (UCTFSI) which resulted in a UC policy that calls for full integration of Environmental and Social Governance Standards (ESG) into management of the institution’s $91 billion portfolio, including a $1 billion allocation to climate solutions across asset classes. She has also helped curate panels focused on ESG and international human rights at events in collaboration with the Robert F. Kennedy Center for Justice and Human Rights and the Schwarzenegger Institute.
