Liliana Boekhout is a Senior at Tufts University majoring in Environmental Studies on the Environmental Science track. Her academic interests focus on sustainability, water management, environmental conservation, and the application of GIS in research and analysis. She has held research and professional roles including serving as a Water Analyst Intern at Bluefield Research, where she worked with industrial and municipal datasets to evaluate water sector trends, and as a Research Assistant at Tufts University, where she contributed expertise in spatial analysis and data management. Most recently, she worked as a Natural Resources Intern with Hot Springs National Park, conducting water quality testing, invasive species mitigation, and tree health surveys using geospatial tools. A Neubauer Scholar and Dean’s List recipient, Liliana is committed to integrating research, conservation, and creative communication in her pursuit of solutions to pressing environmental challenges.
