Architects from Solomon Cordwell Buenz (SCB) and university staff will provide a tour of Loyola's John and Kathy Schreiber Center, the 10 story, LEED Gold home to the Quinlan School of Business. The tour will share design strategies utilized by the team including natural ventilation, daylighting, radiant heating and cooling and self-shading all wrapped in a highly efficient building envelope and integrated through a 'social stair' climbing the full height of the building.

    "Animal Factory Farming: Killer Stats Investors Can't Ignore."  Jeremy will discuss the myriad material risks related to this growing production method which include antimicrobial resistance, deforestation, water risks, carbon emissions, and animal welfare issues which have the potential to significantly affect the bottom line for companies and investors.
