Maria Lettini, Director, Farm Animal Investment Risk & Return (FAIRR) Initiative
As Director of the FAIRR Initiative, Maria engages investors and stakeholders around the potential material investment risks with respect to industrialized factory farming and the related effects to global health, climate and food security. Prior to joining FAIRR in September 2016, she was Head of the Americas for the UN-supported Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI), leading the PRI's signatory relations and outreach strategy to raise awareness of environmental, social and corporate governance (ESG) issues and increase ESG integration across the financial markets. Maria has over twenty years’ experience in investment banking, business and finance with previous experience at both J.P. Morgan and Deutsche Bank covering global markets. She has been based in San Francisco, New York, Madrid, and most recently, London.
Maria holds a MA (Distinction) in Environment, Politics and Globalization from King's College London and a BA in International Business, Latin American Studies and Spanish from SDSU.
