Redefining Corporate Value: Changing the Equation for Cities, Food, Materials and Climate by Placing True Value on Natural and Social Capital l World Business Council on Sustainable Development (WBCSD), February 13, 2017, Phoenix, AZ

This event is for WBCSD members as well as investors and corporations attending GreenBiz 17, which begins the next day at the same venue.   Redefining Corporate Value will feature corporate discussions on business solutions as well as leading work from ASU.  The event will focus on:

  • The major sustainability drivers for 2017 such as reports by the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures and by the Business and Sustainable Development Commission led by WBCSD CEO Peter Bakker and ASU President Michael Crow.
  • Leading thinking on how companies disclose, create and measure value and identify risk,  Rodney Irwin, Director of the WBCSD's Redefining Value Program
  • The Natural and Social Capital Protocols (to be released in January) in action, highlighting why what we measure matters.
  • Interactive breakout groups focused on cities, food, materials and energy
