Siobhan Pender, Sustainable Investing Intern
Siobhan Pender (she/hers) is a rising Senior at Boston College, double majoring in Environmental Studies and Economics with a History minor. She has an Environmental Justice and Policy concentration, taking courses in environmental law, policy, and theory. She attended high school at Notre Dame School of Manhattan, located in the West Village neighborhood of New York City. She has lived in Brooklyn, NY for the past two years and previously was in New Jersey for most of her life.
She has been a part of EcoPledge, BC's largest sustainability organization, for the past three years, and next year she will be Co-President of the club. For the past year, she has been conducting research as an assistant for Professor Jennifer Schauer of the Sociology Department studying Shark Behavior and the impacts of Shark EcoTourism. She is passionate about environmental activism and loves spending time outside and at the beach, as well as visiting museums in her free time.
