All year long, we've been exploring how we can build on IEN’s incredible impact over the past decade to seize the opportunities to drive impact over the next 10 years and beyond. To celebrate, 160+ friends and supporters of Tony and IEN will gather for a festive evening of reflection as IEN steps up ambition for driving positive momentum. We look forward to leveraging this important milestone to grow support for IEN’s work and ensure financial sustainability for years to come!

IEN 2024 Climate Solutions Series: Climate Investing in 2024 - Juggling Feathers in a Rainstorm | ScopeFour Capital
August 15, 2024 | 10 am ET
IEN’s climate solutions series will focus on opportunities for direct, high-impact investment in climate solutions. Each conversation in this interactive series will focus on a manager or group with a perspective in the market, giving them an opportunity to share their work, what they’re seeing in the space, and explore the range of what’s possible.
The August 2024 convening will feature perspectives from ScopeFour Capital. Uncertainty around the interest rate environment and upcoming elections have led to a volatile year for climate-oriented equities. ScopeFour Capital will discuss both issues, as well as recent “green shoots” in the climate space and how the tremendous investment opportunity in the Net Zero transition is still in its early stages. This series is open to IEN Members only, and is a part of IEN's Net Zero Endowments Initiative. To learn more about the initiative or to join, please contact Aicha Ly at [email protected].

Accessing Pure-Play Climate Solutions through Private Credit | Lombard Odier | December 20, 2023
2-2:45pm ET
IEN's Climate Solutions Investing Series is a series of virtual educational sessions, each highlighting a thought-leader or practitioner advancing climate solutions through investment vehicles in various asset classes.
The LOIM Sustainable Private Credit team provided an engaging session that explored bespoke climate action investment opportunities and the potential of private credit in catalyzing a sustainable future. See how tailored direct loans and a stewardship & engagement-based approach may seek alpha away from public market volatility via acceleration of pure-play climate solutions. Backed by rigorous research, the team provided a scientifically-grounded overview of climate-aligned economic opportunities and examined how private credit is positioned to drive transformative scale while preserving capital and managing risk. The session included an unrecorded, live Q&A as well as a case study on investing in U.S. community solar projects, highlighting sustainability management best practices and social & environmental co-benefits of distributed resources.
