Elizabeth joined Terra Alpha in November 2017. She leads Terra Alpha's strategy and business development. Elizabeth has over 15 years of experience working with businesses and investors on topics of sustainability, natural resources, and technology. Prior to Terra Alpha, she established and led World Resource Institute's Sustainable Investing Initiative. There she collaborated with institutional investors and other market participants to inform, develop, and promote widespread adoption of sustainable investment strategies in the mainstream investor marketplace. Earlier in her career, Elizabeth spent six years in leadership roles at Global Environment Fund, a private equity firm. Additionally, she was a management consultant at Booz Allen Hamilton, served as a consultant on climate finance to the World Bank and International Finance Corporation, was an Analyst for the Massachusetts Renewable Energy Trust, and worked for senators Edward M. Kennedy and Max Baucus.
Elizabeth currently serves a Director of the Harvard Alumni Association and as a board member of the Harvard Club of Washington. She also serves on the Corporation of the Winsor School in Boston and as Vice President of the Stella P. Holt Foundation. She is also a Trustee of the Maryland/DC Nature Conservancy Chapter, a World Resources Institute's Sustainable Investment Advisory Council member, and Steering Committee member of the Intentional Endowments Network.
Elizabeth holds an AB in Environmental Science and Public Policy from Harvard College and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
