Rickard (Dick) Hurd, Trustee and Chair of the Investment Committee, Hampshire College, and Partner and Analyst, Mayo Investment Advisers

Mr. Hurd joined the firm in 2010 as Research Director, and is responsible for fundamental company research and analysis. Dick previously worked as the managing director of the Boston Region for BMO Capital Markets. Prior to joining BMO in 2004, he was an Executive Managing Director at Fulcrum Global Partners. Prior to that, he served as Director and Senior Sales Leader of the Boston Region for Credit Suisse First Boston. Prior to Credit Suisse, Dick was Vice President and Partner of DLJ, which was acquired by Credit Suisse in 2000. He earned his B.A. in Systems Analysis from Hampshire College, and holds an M.B.A from the University of North Carolina’s Kenan-Flagler Business School. Dick is a trustee of Hampshire College and Chairman of the Investment Committee, a prior board member of Roca, Inc. , and Senior Advisor to the Youth Advocacy Foundation. Dick is a past member of the Board of Directors at Crosswinds Investments (prior Cowen Asset Management).
