Tanvi Pradhan, Alumna, San Francisco State University Foundation
Tanvi is a sustainable investments professional, and has almost five years of experience in the financial industry. Tanvi began her career in the Hong Kong office of Barclays Investment Bank, where she gained secured funding and synthetics trading experience across Asian markets. She has worked with the San Francisco State University Foundation, where she developed a carbon footprint model for the investment portfolio. Tanvi has presented this work at several conferences, including the Intentional Endowments Network conference, the California Higher Education Sustainability Conference, and the Association of Governing Boards Foundation Leadership Forum. For the past year, Tanvi has worked as an Environment, Social and Governance (ESG) analyst with the SRI Wealth Management Group at RBC Wealth Management, integrating ESG considerations into clients’ investment strategies and portfolios.
Tanvi has an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta, which ranks among the top 3 management institutes in Asia. She recently pursued a second MBA from the San Francisco State University (SFSU) in order to specialize in sustainable business. At SFSU, she graduated with the highest international honor for business students - Beta Gamma Sigma, was President of the graduate Net Impact chapter, and was a finalist at the Morgan Stanley Sustainable Investment Challenge. Tanvi has a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering with Distinction from the University of Pune, India.
