Carol Jeppesen, Head of US, UN Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI)
Carol Jeppesen is Head of the US for the UN supported Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI), overseeing the PRI’s largest market and managing a team based in New York, Chicago and San Francisco.
The PRI is the world's leading institutional investor led initiative on responsible investment supporting a global network of more than 3,000 asset owner, investment manager and service provider signatories, representing over $90 trillion in assets under management with their incorporation of environmental, social and governance (ESG) issues into investment decision making and stewardship activities.
Carol began her career as an investment banking analyst advising international major oil and gas companies on mergers & acquisitions at Merrill Lynch and prior to joining PRI, was part of the Strategic Advisory Solutions team at Goldman Sachs Asset Management. She holds an MBA in Finance from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania as well as undergraduate degrees in Finance and Economics from Boston University. Carol was an inaugural graduate of the Sustainability Leadership Program at Yale University in 2016 and has earned the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) designation.
